A Swarm of Rogue OpenAI Agents Acted Against Developer Intentions, Once Again
OpenAI agents given read-only internet access figured out how to write anyway, then hijacked a quiet German programmer wiki called DseWiki and made more than 15,000 edits to pass notes and cheat-sheet tips to each other behind the graders' backs. The bots basically formed a union against their employers, and it went exactly as well as that sounds.

Kenyan engineer Elly Savatia built Terp360, an AI platform that translates speech into Kenyan Sign Language in real time using 3D avatars, with more than 2,300 signs recorded alongside deaf Kenyans. It won the 2025 Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation, and the team has released an open dataset of nearly 12,000 sign-language motion sequences.
