A Toronto Hospital Performed Canada's First Robotic-Assisted Hybrid Procedure for Atrial Fibrillation
St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto performed the robotic surgical stage of a hybrid ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation, a Canadian first. The first patient, who had lived with the condition for nearly three decades, recovered and returned home within days.
