Oxford researchers had 1,298 people work through medical scenarios with and without chatbot help, and the chatbot group did no better than plain old search engines. Two users describing the same brain-bleed symptoms got opposite advice, one told to lie down in a dark room, the other sent to emergency care. Your search bar called, it wants its job back.
