Alleged fraudster got $10 million in royalties using robots to stream AI-made music

A North Carolina musician generated hundreds of thousands of AI songs, unleashed 1,040 bots to stream them billions of times, and pocketed over $8 million in royalties before pleading guilty. The only real artist in the operation was the fraud itself.
