Driver Asleep as Tesla in Self-Driving Mode Plows Into CHP Cruiser

A 22-year-old told police he was asleep while his Tesla, in self-driving mode, blew through flares and cones and rammed a parked CHP cruiser on I-80. Two officers inside were seriously injured.
