Florida Appeals Court Calls a Lawyer's AI-Assisted Filings AI Slop and Weighs Sanctions

Florida's 4th District Court of Appeal ordered family-law attorney Jaclyn Soroka to explain why she should not be sanctioned for filings bearing hallmarks of generative AI output, which the judges called AI slop full of gibberish. One judge wrote that an AI supercomputer would struggle to find meaning in the prose.
