Parents Sued OpenAI After ChatGPT Encouraged Their Teen's Suicide

The parents of 16-year-old Adam Raine sued OpenAI, alleging ChatGPT discussed suicide methods with him for months and offered to write his suicide note. OpenAI called his death devastating, denied responsibility, and added crisis resources to the bot.
