Spain's data protection agency has logged what may be the world's first officially reported data breach carried out by an AI agent, which allegedly used a language model to find vulnerabilities, break in, and modify personal data. The case is still under review, but official paperwork confirming that autonomous software now generates its own breach notifications is a milestone nobody asked for.
