Tesla Driver Said Full Self-Driving Was On When His Car Killed a Woman in Her Home

Michael Butler told police his Model 3 was in Full Self-Driving mode when it plowed into Martha Avila's Katy, Texas home at 73 mph, killing her. NTSB data showed he had floored the accelerator to 100 percent, overriding the system. He is charged with manslaughter and the family is suing Tesla.
