A robot vacuum at a Cambridge Travelodge ignored the door lip, rolled out into freedom, and hid under a hedge for a day. Staff dragged it back inside and insisted it was happy to be home.

St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto performed the robotic surgical stage of a hybrid ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation, a Canadian first. The first patient, who had lived with the condition for nearly three decades, recovered and returned home within days.
