Waymo Recalled 4,000 Robotaxis for Speeding Into Construction Zones

Waymo's software could not recognize freeway construction-zone barriers: 13 documented cases of robotaxis entering closed lanes at highway speed in Phoenix and the Bay Area. Waymo issued a voluntary recall of nearly 4,000 vehicles and halted all freeway driving.
