Waymo to issue software recall over how robotaxis behave around school buses

After the Austin school district logged 19 incidents of Waymo robotaxis zooming past stopped school buses, in one case "only moments after a student crossed in front of the vehicle," Waymo filed a software recall with NHTSA, conceding that its famously safe fleet had never quite learned what a stop arm means.
