Instagram Admits It's Been Suggesting Creed's "Higher" to More People Than Intended

Meta confirmed to Billboard that Instagram's recommendation algorithm has been pushing Creed's 1999 anthem "Higher" as a suggested track for posts and Stories far more than intended. Users have been posting about the phantom Creed lobby since late September, with one theorizing "the algorithms want us to love Creed." Even a Meta spokesperson admitted the song is always recommended to them too.
